Paulo Coehlo's: "The Alchemist"
Paulo Coehlo's: "The Alchemist"
I picked this book up and read it straight through. I simply could not put it down.
Riveting and inspiring, the story of the boy, Santiago unfolded in the most magical way and in it's unfolding I saw the wisdom and mystery of life unfold along with it.
This book opens our minds and hearts to the gifts from the universe that we do not often see or acknowledge, but receive nevertheless. It will make you more aware of your own and how often you have overlooked them. Walk with Santiago on his quest from Spain to the Egyptian Pyramids as he seeks his Treasure and share the moment when he finds out just what it really is. In finding Santiago's treasure you may also find your own.

J.K. Rowlings' "Harry Potter And The Deathly Hallows"
J.K. Rowlings' "Harry Potter And The Deathly Hallows"
I was in the stores right at midnight anxiously searching among the wizards and witches for the display. Like most other fans, I could not wait to get a copy. Honestly, I was not disappointed.
Rowling has outdone herself in this installment. It is packed with action and adventure like the previous books and every bit as entertaining.
I won't spoil it for you by telling who lives or dies. With a cast of old characters more determined to destroy Voldemort than ever and new ones every bit as fascinating as the old ones, every chapter has a surprise. Like the other books, you will want to read it all in one night.
If your haven't read any of the "Harry Potter" series yet, you have a lot of adventure and thrills coming. I give Rowling 5 stars for an exceptional ending to the series.
